Holy sheet. That is bad!

Check out this Camaro Porsche mod.

I wonder if there's any disadvantages of buying a repaired salvage Camaro? I know warranty is thrown out the window, but I wonder if insurance rates are any higher? There's some sweet repaired Camaros up for auction!

Yes, you get a lesser car. It's up to you if the price savings is worth it.

I bought a car once that the title was 'fixed' yet people came and told me the story later. It was in an accident, with fatality. Later on when I was having it painted again adding some different body parts it was like woodworking tolerance, A little give/take here, shim this and that, grind here build up there.

Those body guys all say they can bring them back like they were, maybe if money was no object and it was gonna be their own personal car. They always cut corners and are only interested in the profit margin.

No way. I'd never mess with a set of wheels that came off of a car burnt that badly. No telling what kind of damage that can't be seen the heat did to the wheels.

Pretty rare car right here. They didn't make a lot of the yellow IROCs. It's a TPI 5.0 5 speed too.

Yep, upside down on payments, don't like car, want something else, dealer won't budge on trade in value, crash car while drunk, report it stolen, have friend steal car etc, etc, insurance fraud costs all of us.

Co-part shows multiple sales in multiple conditions. As to buying a salvage re-build, you can re-build any car on this page if you want to spend the time and money. You can't re-build the use it one time crumple zones. Bought a car at a big box wholesaler in Houston and found out later that it had been severely crumpled. Dealer bought it back. You just can't fix some things.
Having said that, if it isn't a daily driver and you get it good enough and plan on driving it till the wheels fall off (from wear, not repair) then go for it. Cheap, easy to get into and some insurance companies will actually insure them!
