From hero to zero..1LE tires and 48F

Just want to share that trying to hook those tires from a dead stop at those temperature just wont happen. Even worse, 1-2 shift will spin easily. And braking is dangerous if youre going at higher speed.

I knew about it but never really experience it. Day and night when its hot and sunny. I like those tires but on cold nights, you gotta be really careful!!

Well, I guess my friend with tuned bimmer was happy to see that live...heh

Rain aint too good, but then again it was a cold rainy night. Cold is way worse than rain.

yeah, rain isn't too bad as long as you remember you're moving almost 2 tons on fat tires not made for water displacement...in other words, slow it down before you need to.
haven't had 48* experience, but i know these tires aren't worth much til they're warmed a little, even with hawaii temps

Ive gone from going straight to hanging the ass end out when temps are that low just by mashing the gas in 2nd gear, these tires don't grip until temps are above 65F.

Got my car March 16th in Connecticut ,no less... I've driven it down as low as 30 F and I think the weather has on been 80 F or above less than a week. and I can tell you they do suck in the cold!!! The worst is the drifting all over the road.. But with that said it's like anything else, beware of your surroundings and don't drive like an ass when it's cold and you'll get where your going in one piece. I can also say that at 30 F they feel like they are made of stone!! I would much rather drive them in the rain than the cold. but I do like driving like an ass once the temp is warmed up!!
