gotta make this stop happening to me every month
yup, second time in about a month....
do you guys think the A-pillar dents can be fixed with paintless dent repair? trim too, but it looks like the trims secondary. also i need to figure out how to stop this. I dont take my car and park it next to seedy places often but sometimes with parking and where I am, I have to (its my DD). I try to check on it every often if I do park it somewhere shady but as you can see, it doesnt work. any recommendations so as to stop them from even trying? (maybe motion sensors, blah) not happy right now :(

I can't even figure how something hits you in that location. Seems like its too high and at the wrong angle for another vehicle door. Unless it's a super jacked up truck--and then it should be hitting your mirror as well.

Beater car - good option actually lol
No other car hit me, someone tried to jimmy the lock/break in. thinking a viper proximity alarm (2-way) with the audible voice system.

How is it even possible for any vehicle to hit that spot without hitting the mirror? I assume they did not or you probably would have noted that as well. You sure some mental midget with only 3 brain cells didn't try to break into the car by prying on the window using the A pillar as leverage?
To be honest it looks like someone just whacked it twice with a pry bar. |

Mount a shotgun on the back window and leave an NRA hat on the dash.

Looks to me that someone is either trying to break into the car or is just being an a-hole. Most likely someone is hitting your car with something deliberately. Time to hide a camera inside the car.

I've always thought of adding metal contacts to the backside of the door handles that would be electrified once you lock the car (like at the same level as a taser). Everyone checks to see if its open first, then BAM! on the floor twitching. Except for when your friend / wife / child tries to open the locked door

I think a dash camera would be a good thing - maybe you could actually catch whoever's doing it. Me? I'd buy a $500 piece of sh*t to drive to work or find another job in a better area (I know that's easier said than done).

thanks for the feedback guys
Anyone know if dent removal is easy on the a-pillar? and good catch on the other camaro in the reflection lol, i took the pic in my work parking garage (the camaros usually park together/same area lol) this was deffo some person trying to pry the seal and get into the car, although I dont know why they would pry near the mirror? the interior door latch is right under there so maybe they thought it was a lock by the door latch... it wasnt at work, this was downtown area where some restaurants are at and the only parking is street parking.
