Harmonic balancer
Ok so here's the problem. GM has discontinued the harmonic balancer for the 2000-2002 3800 V6. The question I can never get answered is this...
Is there ANY aftermarket companies that make a Balancer that will work on these years, or are the '95-'99 balancers compatible? And just my 2 cents...I think it is ridiculous that GM discontinued a part that is prone to failure on a car that's only 10 years old and of which there are hundreds if not thousands still on the road. Honestly if anyone agrees with me please help by writing GM at P.O. box 33170, Detroit, MI, 48232 and demand that they start reproducing this part. |

Nobody makes after market, but there the same 97-02, only the 95-96 got the crappier design, but it will still work on the newer ones. Check the v6 forums there are used ones on there all the time form part outs.
