Perhaps he's talking about the limit of the centri unit itself. The amount of fuel needed will be determined by the CFM air moving through. I'm not sure what that would be at 10 psi for the centri unit, but based on what I'm seeing for the dyno sheets for the IPF, I think that would be a little less than the limit for the HPFP. Just a guess on my part, but I think you can get 450 RWHP on a A6 and 480 RWHP on a M6 and still not max out the pump. I don't think you would get hose numbers with 10 psi on the IPF system. Well, maybe on Sycrafts car, but not any of the others I've seen. Again, just my opinion.

Arno told me i could go with a 10% smaller pulley making approximately 14LBS and id be good. i have yet to do this but its a fun idea to play with

with all bolt on mods, a supercharger, bigger fuel pump and bigger rear end gear ported intake would the llt break 500 or what would it be close to as far as hp/tq numbers

But does he recommend it? I doubt IPF does...especially not with their warrantied setups. If you don't have their extended warranty, then I'm guessing they may not care.

But I was told by Arno (I think??...its been a while) that 9 psi was basically the max on the standard system and they felt that was a strong but safe level for an other stock LLT. I've never seen him say much about using a smaller pulley for more boost.

In fact, I've seen him say that using higher boost can result in less power in some cases ( I can't remember exactly why right now)...but if the tune for it is good, and the fuel is there I don't see why it wouldn't make more power.

Wonder if its from pulling timing due to too much boost.

Wonder if E85 would allow more boost, have a V6 run in the 9's.

For clarification, does the stock kit run 9 PSI?

Could you turn up the boost to 9 psi easily if not?

Stock kit on a stock car should hit 10 psi @ 7200 RPM's. If not you have a boost leak according to Arno. Once you add mods your boost will go down, like mine is at 8-9 psi since I have headers and ported intake manifold along with a few other mods.
