Yes they are backlogged up to 8 weeks right now so Elite is a good option if you don't wanna wait.

I've never seen an Rx can they are supposed to be great, but I can vouch for the quality of the Elite. It's excellent and it does the job. Just the fact I have a can instead of waiting for the backordered Rx is worth it's weight in gold to me.

Need help fast car going in Wednesday. What do I do.
I live in Arizona and just got 1LE last week. It's going into dealer for window tint and paint detailing on Wednesday.
The oil separator was not installed. My questions are : If I have chevy install the oil separator and then I install this catch can that you guys are talking about. Is it easy? Does the 'Elite' unit mentioned above have all required hardware for mounting? Will the car still pass emissions. How do those two things help my car on the street? Jim |

2. not too sure about the emissions, but I feel that they shouldn't pose issue.. 3. from what I understand it's supposed to filter out any gunk that might try to make its way into places you don't want it.. |

The Chevy clean side oil separator is for off road use only. So not sure if you could pass emissions with it installed. Only takes about 2 minutes to change this out. The dirty side 'catch can' does not affect emission.... i'm pretty sure about that.
Yes the installs of the catch cans are easy 15 minutes tops.... if you've ever held a wrench in your hands. As far as how they help the car... the chevy clean side is designed to keep the oil in the car while pulling G's. The catch can is designed to keep the oil mist from being ingested into the throttle body... which some believe will rob the car of horse power. |

The GM one takes less than 5 min to install and remove. I don't think you would have a problem with emissions with both installed. I'm betting the for race use only is to cover them if something happens. Granted this is only my opinion so feel free to take it with a grain of salt
