Someone with a 5th Gen already did the ZLS thing, and ended up putting more money into his V6 than it would have cost him to just buy a ZL1 in the first place.

Have to agree with this. Whatever happened to buying a biege early 60s Chevy Nova with a stroker motor, quiet mufflers and dog dish hub caps? That surprises the shit of of people all the time.

I am sure that I will end up offending people, but I think there are far too many badges, emblems, stripes and other stuff people put on their cars and they generally detract from the cars appearance. Only rarely do they ever enhance it. I am really not a fan of the custom made up badges either makes me feel like the owner is trying to overcompensate for something. If you absolutely have to do something do something like the 1LE and SS emblems on the rockers in the pictures in the first post of this thread. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=206528 They turned out very tasteful and subtle.

I agree. SS and Z are normally have V8's or 4WD... then people who are Camaro enthusiasts will just assume that you are a wannabe since the front end will give it away as a non-SS.

i suggest not changing it but if you are changing the name then maybe SRS INSTEAD OF Z since you have a v6. S=Supercharged
