I didn't like that the guy kept squirting water on the track and I would have to run one wheel through it trying to get around it. I'm not sure if that was making me spin more on the launch or if it would have dried off by then? The best advice I received was from the guys at GM over by Thor. I told then that I had run a couple times earlier and wasn't sure how to get the traction control on and stability control off. They said to just put the car in "M" and leave everything on since the computer could think faster than a human. Then I ran the 13.3, so I guess they were right. I also would like to thank the guy in the Caddy and other bumblebee(Sorry, I didn't get your names) for explaining what to do.

I got 4 runs in friday night, didn't do anything on Saturday.

My 4th and best run was 14.7 @ 95.95 mph. Be gentle guys, its was my first time EVER on a dragstrip

Hopefully with more practice, I will tear it up more

Here is one of my best times of 13.075. Did it twice, the second time at a higher mph. First time going down a track and now I am hooked. I see my wallet thinning out...

I didn't have a clue what I was doing. Other guys were burning out and I just drove around the water, lined up, then floored it on the last yellow light! I think if I could run it about 50 times to learn my car better, I would get a into the 12's. I wish I could have done a few more runs, but the wife and kids wanted to go eat. I had a great time and it was truly a great event!
Awesome job DrumDog... Hope you had a blast !! This was one fun event. Nice times.
