Well...I kind of assumed that but you never know (well..I'm sure you know more lol)

But I had figured they'd take an approach like Ford with the 5.0 and offer a similar V8, but likely with a different cam maybe, and tuned for less peak output, but more torque lower in the RPM range.

Very curious about your comment on some "surprise" engine choice....or is it not just an engine choice..but a surprising total package?

I'd be very surprised not to see a TTV6 available eventually, unless they offer a smaller diesel at competitive pricing and good mileage. Then I can see them skipping over the TTV6.

if GM's TTv6 is as lame as fords i guess i'll be keeping my 6.2

How was the EcoBoost before the tune and slight mod's? Just curious because a tune makes a big difference.
