I agree with the above posts on the Pandora bracelets. There are so many neat charms - and you can add to it for multiple occasions.

I'm not sure where you live, but I recently paid to have glamour shots taken - hair, makeup, outfits, everything. I'd been feeling down for a long time and it was just the thing to lift my spirits.

Is there a hobby she has always wanted to try - photography, painting, etc? You can see if any local schools are offering classes on something that interests her.

Everyone is different and you know her more than anyone. Hope you are able to find something

Pandora bracelet.
Necklace with a locket, pic of the new baby inside.
Tickets to a show or play, naturally dinner included.
Make the spa package for two, let her bring her BF for a girls day.

I'd go with the spa treatment, but also get her a little "unmentionable" to let her know that you still think she's got what made you put the baby in her in the first place.

Naw....a spa day is good. My "go to" gift is a massage and mani/pedi gift certificate. Or you can just leave with the baby for the weekend....give her some alone time without you nagging her!
I bought her the 2000 Z28 out front, was a bit early tho.

i'll burn all her shoes before I buy her another pair!! they are everywhere. same with purses. good ideas, but she does a lot of her own shopping for those types of things

I believe her mom got her a Pandora bracelet for a gift after the baby. I could get a charm for it I suppose. we have been working with a photographer or our family pics, pregnant pics, and newborn pics. would be nice to have her own photo shoot.

O she knows, I think she thinks im joking 1/2 the time when I tell her. but shes looked like she hasn't just had a baby since 3 weeks after our girl was born. shes already back to her old body size/weight.

thanks for some good ideas, time to get working on some gifts!

I got my wife an iPad. She for some stupid reason loves APPLE products. I despise Apple with every fiber of my body. Oh well....one thing she has going for her is she has never said anything about the crap I buy for my car, so I guess thats where the compromise comes in.

Last year she asked specifically for some certain pajamas and I bought them at the lingerie store but while I was waiting for them to wrap the gift I saw some fleece cotton drawstring sweat pants that had funny "wine slogans" all over them. I knew I just had to get those too I bought those and had them wrapped too. They are now her go-to "Happy Pants" for wearing around the house. I knew they would be a hit and they were probably the best gift she got that year.

The only thing I had to worry about was explaining to her why there were TWO credit card purchases on my bill on the same day from the lingerie store?!?? I bought them back in October and when the credit card bill came she was giving me the "stink eye" . I told her it would make perfect sense when she opened the boxes.

Find her something fun and very comfortable to smooth out a tough day.

You should check out origamiowl.com.

They're similar to Pandora where you buy charms to personalize the jewelry, except you buy a locket and add small charms inside of it. My wife has a couple lockets from them with a bunch of charms with unique meanings to her. Pandora is cool but I've only seen bracelets...I'd hate wearing a big bracelet all the time.
