Canadian pricing?

First, let me say i just read the pricing that GM has released for the 2010 Camaro, and I am VERY relieved that the base price is in my range .

But I would like to know what you guys think the base price in canadian dollars will be for the Camaro?

For a comparison, I tried comparing the US price of the Malibu to the Canadian price and there was only a difference of like 1600. Do you think the camaro will be spaced out roughly the same?

22,995 US + maybe 1700-2000 for Canadian difference = $24,695 - 24,995?

What do you guys think?

That will be about right, I've noticed on most cars in that price range the markup for Canada is about 10 percent.

Like i said in the other thread GM is really hit or miss when it comes to canadian prices

On the Malibu its great but onthe Solstice base price in the USA is 23075 which is really close to the base camaro price but in canada that same solstice is 28635

We will have to wait and see

Thanks for starting this thread as I was just about to do so. It is great that our friends to the south have their pricing but it really doesn't help us a whole lot as it seems GM pulls pricing out of the @$$e$ when it comes the Cdn market.

I am one of the crazy ones who has already made a 5K deposite and pre-ordered. At the time, back in June, the dealer seem to think that it wouldn't be anymore than the top dog Camaro in 2002 which was around 43K. Now I'm not so sure that I'll be able to get a 2SS/RS with a few GMPP add ons for under 50K, certianly not on the road for 50K

That would be a fifty percent markup, I really don't think so. The SRT8 is 49995 (sticker price at Wille Dodge in Victoria), so your saying same price for a fully loaded camaro, I just don't think so.

I feel pretty confident as to what the pricng will be, the Challenger rt in the states is 30995 and so is the Camaro SS, the Challenger RT up here is 34995 so Im exspecting the price of the Camaro SS to be about the same, 4000 thousand mark up sounds about right, and any challenger around here at the chrysler dealers is going for less then msrp so hopefully the Camaro SS will be sold at msrp or not to much higher

That would make perfect sense to get them on the 16 just before we can place our order just like they did in the USA
