Custom one-off Sinister Camaro Ram Air Hood available
We did something a little different on a Sinister Camaro Ram Air Hood and this is the result. Normally you have the option for fiberglass or carbon fiber. Below is a fiberglass hood with a clear gel-coat but we used carbon fiber in the area in front of the scoop. From there it was primered black with the carbon section left exposed under the clear gel-coat.
It kinda came out with a wicked Batman look to it. The picture isn't the greatest but it gives you an idea what you could do with it. If you have a black Camaro, you could paint the primered section to match the rest of your car and leave the carbon exposed or you could paint the primered section black and use a matte clear coat to give it the flat black look as shown here. You wouldn't want to leave it as is because it is a primer on it now, not a top coat. Will it remain as a one of a kind? That remains to be seen. Its listed as an option on the product page at the same price as the fiberglass version. Let us know if you have any questions.
