Alright, well because I prefer to keep my rear end as an exit only, and the way my local chevy dealer was getting ready to pound me. I've decided I'm going to find a place to make myself a glass roof, as far as the seats, I'm going to order those and to the black rims I want... Well I'll find a way to get those. Lol... Scratch plan A

A car that starts as a coupe looks horrible with a sun roof added. If you need proof there is a local dealer that has had a used one for over a yr I can take a pic of if you want or you can go to their web the dealer is Irwin motors laconia nh

I think the roof on the none Sun Roof cars looks better than the flat roof on the Sun Roof cars. Most people don't even know there is a difference but it is sharper I think.
If u want your top to go down get a sports car instead of a muscle car. I love my convertibles but there not Camaros. |

As a lowly 1LE owner, I highly recommend going with a sunroof on a ZL1. The airflow with it open is perfect and no buffeting sound like when the side windows are down at times. 70-80mph side windows down too much wind and noise, sunroof open low wind and less noise. I can see not going with the sunroof for those who are serious track folks or too tall. However the ZL1 shines in all areas and at $55k a car should have a sunroof. Seldom opened any t-tops on prior camaros but open the sunroof very often, I prefer it open far far more than the side windows. The different roofline isn't a big issue with me either and with it opened I like the look just the same. Recaros are icing on the cake if you go with a 14, just bring some KY jelly if you trade with the dealer. But if you have the money and can afford it, I say do it you only live once.

The reverse Mohawk and sunroof do not go well with each other at all. And people who know and care about cars definitely notice. |

Funny, I was thinking the same thing about fake stripes...aka stickers...but to each their own I guess...

I can tell you one thing they don't do is put a sunroof in a roof that wasn't designed for it. |

Sorry, I thought this was the opinion sharing section based I'm your previous post...no need to get upset. Some people like sunroofs because they're functional. You obviously have your opinion that they "look horrible", but they are more than just looks.

You took a dig at me on the Stripes I sell, as you called them "Stickers" I simply stated that GM uses Vinyl from the factory. My 1LE has a hood covered with it. I've seen Sunroofs in Camaro's with the reverse Mohawk. Maybe they were installed improperly? But they looked terrible. |

Exactly. I don't think many who don't have a sunroof ever drove a 5th Gen with a sunroof open at 60-90mph. Sun shining, fresh air, less wind and noise compared to just windows down. 60plus mile round trip to work with the sunroof open makes for a better day in my book.
