Hey everyone. I have had my car for a while now and done some mods but never got around to starting a thread until now..

So it starts like this.. I always loved the 5th gen since it came out and when I was 16 my grandpa said "kid, when you turn 18 I will buy you any car you want just tell me what it is". Sadly my grandpa passed away on September 17, 2011, when I was 17 years old. (Rest in Peace - Keneth P. Sandeno) And so our family had to act on the money before we lost it. So about 2 weeks after he died I came home from Bill Jacobs in Joliet, IL with my baby. 2011 Victory Red 2LT/RS with white rallys. I was pumped to get her home. (like all of us were) I treated her with love and compassion for about 2 months then I came across camaro5 and that day started to make her "mine"..

Condolences for the loss of your Grandpa. Hopefully he is smiling down from heaven on you and your new ride. You should do a mod to honor and remember him by; something that evokes a memory.

Thank you, it really means a lot. And I hope he is too. I am currently trying to find a way to paint the gray door and dash panels white to match the stripes and once that is done I think I am going to take a paint brush with black paint and the last words he spoke to me on the far right side of the long dash piece.
