OP, you can achieve what you want very many have said. Something in a 224-228 dur. and keeping lift under .600. LSA in the 115-117 area. Its not all about big cam/big numbers. All those big numbers do you no good if they don't kick in till 5,000 rpm. We have big heavy cars. Your smaller cam will give you max torque from 1500-5500+ rpms (where you need it). Also, keeping it small will avoid the extra expense of adding a stall converter. Good luck.

Avenging Orange is right. My NF cam is one of the larger street cams and on the dyno sheets its close to stock till you hit the upper rpms starting about 3500+ it starts making power and at 5000 thats the sweet spot where it really makes a difference, 55rwhp to be exact.
