Lmao, I can see that, and laugh hysterically while he's doing it...

I have had to repair a few sets of mast heads with this same issue. The aluminum is so soft in comparison to the factory casting. I installed steel inserts to repair.

So, not a head you would use for high boost level applications... My LS3 castings flexed under boost... Pushed a gasket... My LSA heads lifted with a lean condition and 24 lbs of boost...oversized ARP studs... Lost boost reference... Spiked 30 lbs and went lean on one bank... 4 bolt block... Strongly considering a six bolt aluminum block and heads...

Exactly....it's so stupid we're all just drawn in. It's like watching Wile E. Coyote going after Roadrunner. All this planning and it just backfires. I'm sure we can all guess what part Jamie plays.

Bigger head studs on the 5.0 block we ran but it was 4 bolts and we ran 50+ pounds of boost. Usually a head lifting is more a sign of detonation than too much boost or that there isn't enough fastners.

But I will agree more head studs the better. If I was trying to make 1500+ HP I would go billet block and billet heads or water in the heads.
