clicking noise when in low speeds in turning
I have a 2SS Auto with 3K miles. LOVE MY CAMARO! The problem is when driving around town at speeds of 20-40 and while in slow turns randomly I hear a clicking/rattling sound coming from under the center part of the car. Does anyone else have this same issue? I took my car into the dealer for it's first oil change and told them about it. They checked it out. The service tech said they tightened some bolts up but said it may have been the fix since they didn't hear it anymore but said if it continues to bring it back in. But before i do i wanted to ask others. Let me know. Thanks!

I have the same issue, and they're blaming it on the automated fuel management system. I'm not buying that. I hear it at lower speeds, 40 and below. It is very audible right when I accelerate from a stop. I'm going to try another dealer.

I've had both lifter banks replaced. Clicking went away and now its back. I think the L99 has some major problems . Gregg

Mine makes noises too. It's always at low speeds. It's done it from the get go. I've had mine for almost 5 months. I'm thinking it's just the way the car is. I have 5,000 miles

I heard mine do this once or twice before, but it was really noticable today.
Happens at real slow speeds while on the decelleration I can hear it clearest from about 15 KMS and slower, also while in reverse. Like others have said a ticking noise right around the tranny, alomst like a rock in the tire....yes I did check and no there was no rock, anyone have some new ideas?? ticking is too tinny to be an internal problem hopefully it is something simple.
