ZL1 front bumper conversion advice
So I recently got into a minor accident last week with the camaro. I'm using insurance to do the repairs. My front bumper, right fender, and right rocker panel are needing to be replaced, along with some other minor things.
I want to take advantage of this situation and am wanting to switch to the ZL1 bumper instead. For those of you that have done it, where do you recommend I order all the parts at a decent value amount that can fit into my estimate cost? I searched eBay so far and saw a full kit for $700. Has anyone here bought that kit? And how do you like it? Or should I look elsewhere? Thanks! |

The Gen5DIY kit is very nice and complete. It comes with all the pieces you need and is very simple to install. Just needs paint.

Yeah, it's literally plug and play, piggybacks between the factory plugs. Relay is attached and all you have to hook up is one wire to the hot post on the fuse box. Lengths are correct and everything looks like it came from the factory.

I ordered mine from Garys non painted to get a better match. Having body shop do it all though. Garys seemed to have better pricing on shipping and such rather than Gen5dyi
