There is no way they would offer all these upgrades for $4000, though that would be awesome. Once we see the price of the ZL1 we might have a better understanding of what something like this would cost, if it were offered. I'm thinking $7500 on top of the 1SS, which wouldn't be too bad.

That's the best looking 5th gen I've seen. I love the ground effects and the wheels.

However, it should not be called the Z28. The Z28 should different. The 1LE originated in the third gen years, and it was an option on IROCs and Z28s. It was still a Z28, but with an upgraded suspension and brakes. Essentially what the 5th gen 1LE is, but it's an SS with a better suspension. (it's just a trim level rather than an option)

LOL, it would not be that much LOL. Magna ride on the vette I believe is about $1700 option, plus I figure since the mustang get optional forged aluminium wheels and brembo brakes for $1700 extra. The camaro already has brembos standard they just switched out the front brakes, so it could be a $1700 option aswell, all the cosmetic flare I can pass on.

Basically its a wheel/tire package + better front brakes + magnaride 3.0.

I hope you're right. I thought magnaride was more expensive than that, oh well.

i cant help but feel shafted
If I was ordering a ZL1 right now id feel a little pissed.
Same spoiler, same rear diffuser same side rockers, same wheels, same magnetic ride control, same exhaust
same interior
minus the LSA

its looks good, but going with the 1le theme from the thirdgens i think it should have optional power windows and lock and seats and radio and ac options , that would make it neat as hell .

Cool... A ZL1 minus the supercharger. Sounds like the Z07... which is just a ZR1 minus the supercharger basically.

Love the wheels, exhaust and aero kit. Paint it all one color please. Lose the Dodge hash marks (yes, I know it's a Corvette racing thing from yesteryear but... lose them).

Keep it affordable... $40-45K. TOPS!

Never happen. Cost to much to delete those things. Where would the put the window crank? It's much cheaper for companies to make PW and PDL standard than to engineer multiple trim pieces and door panels.
