thats more than fine, Im getting an aftermarket radio to move the camera down there, I prefer it in the mirror but would rather have the streamlined mirror up top.

Who knows, maybe they will come out with a frameless mirror with the backup in it someday so I can just switch it out

but till then Ill be happy with the frameless without it.

Thanks

I was able to get mine all hooked up without a harness and without cutting the factory wiring.

I made my own plug out of some salvage PC parts.

Pics of the hookup or a how-to? Which PC connectors did you use?

I posted the DIY over on moderncamaro

I used an old CD Rom connector, and I tried to take a couple pics tonight with my more epic install.

can you post the link to the DIY in moderncamaro? I did a search but the search there is as bad as this one, unless you know the exact thread tittle it pulls up the 100's of build threads with 5000 posts

Of course.
http://www.moderncamaro.com/forum/do...10-camaro.html

I am going to update the thread a bit with the CD Rom cable. I was pretty tired when i took the photos, and I didn't take the pictures under best circumstances.

My first method of tape does work. The trim just doesn't want to stay on. This method with the CD ROM audio cables lets you unplug the mirror if needed.
