yeah, got me some new G-Force halfshafts coming. I went to fest telling myself "just say no". Apparently that didn't work either.

I was pleased with the vendors as well...Would have liked a Catch can myself but oh well save some for a later date...While I was there able to get Night owl update...Oil dip stick mod, ACS trunk lid liner, Showstopper measured for a Radiator shroud to fit my bay, Billet parts purchased, and COLLECTED on ADAMS products and I mean COLLECTED!! So all in all was great

There are shops within driving distance from you that can install those parts any day of the week.

I thought the Vendor support and staff was AMAZING!

I just wish would of had time to visit the vendors! I only made it to Big Worm Graphix for some installations. Between Drag Racing, watching racing and CamaroCrossing didn't leave me much extra time... lol

I left a considerable amount of cash with vendors at the fest. And met some who I will be buying stuff from in the near future. In several cases I was able to talk to the owners about their products and they were very helpful despite the fact that they were probably answering the same questions for the umpteenth time. I only had issues with one vendor but I'm not going into that here.

The vendors that did not bring merchandise, lost sales to those that actually took the time to bring merchandise with them. Prim example, my son wanted a CAI for his 2104 RS, but no one had it at the Fest, so he bought a Roto-Fab instead since they were there and they did the install at the same time.

Adams being on hand was the BEST for me... I heard of them here but have never experienced their product... I'm not sure I would have bought the product online and site unseen but the small line of products they had there I was able to see, touch and smell (yes smell) and I ended up picking up a bottle of glass cleaner... and I can say that being able to talk to someone and ask my idiotic detail questions helped...

My shopping cart is full and ready for the credit card payment to hit so I can rack up some more!

most places I've been to (Biker Rally's) sell you a bunch of stuff but I've not seen anyone do installed onsite!!! That was awesome!!! Instant gratification!!!

We did the first three fests, the last two fests the date did not line up.

One thing I don't think customers understand is the sheer cost of doing such an event from so far away. For the AZ and Indy shows, we spent almost 5 figures in diesel, hotels, overtime, plane flights, and so forth. It is not cheap. Then you get out there, and people expect some super deep Camaro5Fest discount. Problem is, there are vendors crawling on top of one another already on this forum. You already get the super deep Camaro5 discount every day here.

Either way, each year we bought a trailer full of stuff, and brought most of it back. because people either bought stuff before the show to look good at the show, or they expected you to install it for free in the parking lot.

In terms of installs, that seems crazy to me. Say you are hundreds or thousands of miles from home..and drove your car to an event. Does it really make sense to have some out of state company modifying your car in a parking lot that you will never see again?

Dude that was there doing the vents in the hood was kinda weird for me to see because of that but I seen him do tons of them while I was there and they all turned out perfect. Guess when your good your good.

I spent some cash too...between Adams, Big Worm Graphics, & Oracle. Over all it was a great weekend and all the vendors I worked with were friendly and helpful.

I talked to JDP about selling stuff and their response was, Texas taxes prevented them from offering any great deals. It would be cheaper for you to order it from their site and have it waiting on your doorstep when you got home. As MS posted, once you factor in your time/energy, fuel, cost of product, and the lower profit margin, I could easily see this as an issue. NO ONE wants spend that much $$ to make a small profit or even lose $$.
