Mystery solved . I figured it out . So I went to drop off the months vehicle inspection report summary to ADEQ . My buddy Rob stopped by and I thought I would give him ride in the Camaro . I jumped on the 202 and ran it pretty hard . When I got back the car was good and hot .I parked it in the sun . An hour later another friend ( Jared )drops by to pick up some titles . He wanted to see how the headers fit , we go to the Camaro and he said what's the tiney goose bumps on the wrap at the very front edge of the hood extractor . I looked close and sure enough it was there . At 5 when I left the shop it was gone ,and looked normal . Looks fine today too . I think running the car hard with the headers made the hood hot enough to cause it and the direct sun while the car was sitting still in the sun to caused it . Water and oil temps were all normal .I'm thinking of taking out the tray under the extractor out for better venting of the engine heat for the summer . Looks like the wrap doe's not like the heat . Any way it looks perfectly normal today .

^^^^^i see a parallel here, listen up.

This occurred last month. After sitting sun all day, a huge enough bubble appeared on my rear Anvil spoiler, which was plasti dipped. Bubble would not go away, even if I massaged it with my finger. Bubble lasted about 2-3 days, then it vanished, like literally. Not even a scar is now left behind. It vanished after I put my car in my AC'd garage for a few days.

It's already painted under there. Just have them remove the wrap.

Or are you saying that you would like it painted flat black? If so, never mind.

How about running some heat wrap on the headers to help with heat reduction?

I think removing the tray under the extractor is what I'm going to do if it happens again. I should have ceramic coated the headers ,I hate the way wrapped headers look .

In your tribe, is it considered cheaper to re-wrap the hood every few years, or to repaint it?

Who did you have paint yours? I'm in the new prauge area. My hoods peeling slightly on the edges under the hood and have considered painting it!
