As usual.. good stuff from The Baron...

I'm definitely not over driving my blower and went conservative for now on pulleys. 8.6 lower 2.55 upper at 12.7psi and as I said my IATs are much lower with the heatx.

the next level of this is the gpm of the pumps.. the stock pump is only like 2.5 gpm... now there is a point of no improvement but adding more flow will also keep the i.a.ts down. so guys that say the stock brick is the problem don't understand how heat is transferred and don't know there are calculations intercooler guys use and they include the amount of fluid traveling through them for a reason.

superchiller only adds about 7-9 pounds to the car, so it isn't adding significant weight to the car.

Exactly, and its the only system ive seen so far that actually keeps the iats below outdoor ambient. Air will never be able to cool like freon no matter how big the hx is. For guys running hotlaps they would probably have to set the ac compressor to stay on at wide open throttle. I know it works great at the drag strip.

I just placed an order for the Lingenfelter intercooler reservoir. I figure if I use this reservoir in combination with the Super Chiller, I will have a fairly good answer for the heatsoak issues. Biggest problem is going to be trying to mount this reservoir somewhere other then where lingenfelter has designed it to go, because I have the stock airbox. Hopefully it finds a nice home some where inside the engine bay. any ideas are appreciated.

Just get a CAI...everyone ditches the stock air box. Get a Rotofab, ADM, or CAI from another vendor. It is worth a solid 15-20hp.

Exactly and it will free up some space as that factory setup is taking up mad real estate

yeah I am not interested in ditching the stock air box, I do not want to listen to the constant whinning noise from the S/c. it just isn't something I am interested in doing.

CAI and ADM are enclosed. I don't hear the S/C at all on mine and I have pulleys as well.

For those of you with the Lingenfelter/Rotofab intercooler tank, what level are you putting in the system. I just installed mine and. Priced that the filler neck on the tank is lower than the fill port on top of the supercharger. If you top off the tank, there is very little to no coolant in the return line to the tank and if you top off the factory fill port the Rotofab tank will over flow. So are you guys just topping off the Rotofab and letting the remaining air push trough the intercooler and collect on the aux tank. Thanks

they are totally quiet unless you are on the throttle hard...no constant whining at cruise.
