NICE CAMARO CONVERTIBLE
I love it. It is the first GM convertible for a long time that has some real class, excluding the Corvette. I have been waiting for a long time to see a really neat looking convertible again. I have had 19 convertibles, 8 of them being Chevy. I hope I can own one of these in a converible one day.

I highly doubt you will ever see the top up on this car. reasons being that 1) they probably didn't have the time to finish it entirely and still make it for the detroit show. 2) Maybe they still haven't decided if it will be a retractable hard top or a "rag top". IMHO

As for the top being "up" on the 'vert concept, I'll agree with 'wirewilly'...GM may not have had that all worked out yet.
As for whether it'll be a "rag top", or folding hard top, you can count out a folding hard top. Two reasons; price and weight. That is a definate "no go". |

That's pretty funny I didn't even consider that the reason we haven't seen the top up is because it might not be finished yet I just thought that they wanted to show it in its glory - top down.

Another reason I'm certain it was shown, top down, MUCH MORE APPEALING.

I would have to agree with Moose, the rag top is the only way to go to save on weight and space. Althought I think its important to keep the same lines in the Convert top as in the Coupe Top (In my opinion it makes the car) If I buy the Covert, I doubt id have the top up much

Anyone notice the windshield seems a little off? Well, not necessarily the windshield itself, but the white windshield frame? Is it just me? I think they need to get rid of the white and color match it to the rest of the car.
