The 580 HP is at the crank not the rear wheels. You have to take into account the loss in the drive train. Using your 440rwhp it calculates out to a 24% loss which seems high even if you have the auto. If you have the M6 you should be around 15% loss or (493) to 18% or (476) give or take a few.
My bone stock SS M6 was right at a 15% DT loss. Bone stock dyno was 360rwhp and it's rated at 426 at the crank. If you went to Southern hot rods I believe they have a Mustang dyno and they say it's a heartbreaker.

LPE dyno'd my ZL1 in stock form before beginning work and the average of two runs was 521 RWHP/520 ft.lbs....it's an M6.....can't wait to see what their 700+HP upgrade gets.....

You should "data log" your car and see what kind of Torque numbers the computer is seeing...built in dyno an all.
I have a SS and my computer consistently sees 380-390lbs at WOT around 4500rpms........just a number but its a reference point. Now my car (l99) is supposed to have 410lbs of TQ at crank, but my computer has never seen that. Point being my engine is "rated" for 410 but 410 has never been delivered....close but never 410. The computer on the ZL1 is more complex than the LS3 or L99 so there may be more limiting "rules" going on. So although your engine is "rated" at 580/556TQ your computer settings may never allow it to deliver that much so if you data log your car you will see what the computer is allowing and not.......and potentially why......but given my SS TQ numbers, your ZL1 should be at least 510-520 TQ......=L99+ZL1 rated difference. |

483 is a lot better, I'm sure the heat and humidity are killing you like others posted. As long as you're happy that's all that counts. It's an amazing car, I ordered my wife's on May 19th it was my dealers 2nd allocation and was supposed to be a 2012 but got shifted to a 2013. It was built June 21st just waiting on the QC issues to clear so it can ship. Hopefully we can meet up at a show or cruises in. I believe your on the CCC Facebook I'm on there too.
