Waiting for my Camaro

Hey MikeySoft,

How long did it take to get your Camaro? My SS had a delivery date of 7/31, but it is 8/6 and I am still waiting. Thinking about a covert operation to the railyard myself!

Well lets see.... I was pretty much dealerless... after my Z06 nightmare I had with Brown and Brown. So I shopped for a new Dealer, Freeway was the only one that had both Allocation and GM Family Discount.

I ordered on 5-6-9
It was delivered to the Rail Yard in Phx right after the July 4th weekend. It sat there for about 3-4 Days. Then I had Painted Stripes, Ground Effects, Tint, ect. But lets not count that.

So I'd say 5-6 order and 7-13 to the Rail yard. 2 Months and a Week?

(Wow duh, read my timeline event Log Below)

About 8 went out today and there are 2 silver, 1 black and a victory red left at about 2 this afternoon. Those most likely wont go out until tomorrow.

AZ2010SS,

How did you know that? I drove over there today and thats what i saw. a red with probably the rs package, a black, and two silver ones. One of the silver look like it had the rs wheels. Hopefully I will get mine tomorrow! Can't wait to drive it!

WOW! Cars that come into the rail yard (once unloaded), typically must be out of the yard with in 72 Hours. This does not include Sunday's or holidays.

My Camaro spent the Weekend (meaning it came into the yard on Friday), and was not moved to the Dealer Till Tues Morning. Thats how my Stripe package got COOKED, since it was in the front seat of the car exposed to the sun.

I went over to the yard before work today and 3 trucks were being loaded. There were 3 silver camaros, but I was only able to see 2 of them upclose. Neither one had the HID lamps so they weren't mine. I didn't see the 3rd one because I had to get to work. This is torture lol!

Has anyone installed the Skip Shift Eliminator? Is this Skip Shift business really a big deal or just overplayed?

The Camaro do not go to El Mirage. They go to the rail yard in Tempe.

I dont find it to be a big deal. Gets me once in a while but you just move the shifter towards 3rd and 4th then right back into 2nd.
