Talking what are the best discounts in canada?

I'm looking to buy or order a 2ss next week .

Does anyone know what discounts/incentives are available for Canadian customers?

On top of discounts, if paying cash, how much do you think the dealer could go down on the price?

NO DISCOUNTS...for canadian customers...

I worked my dealer hard......cost of my car was MSRP $32,650 (from the website and the sticker)

They started with $34,000, i said $31,000 and they angrily walked me out the door...(this was on Jan 15th). They called me back in on the 20th and said they wanted to be my dealer....and said MSRP was teh price, due to it being in demand and that in the spring there will be no chance to get it @MSRP.

I walked in unannounced on Jan 30th in the middle of a snow storm, and said $31k and i sign right away, they said "$32k, final offer..." i stood up and said sorry....Sales Person said "how much do you want to pay?" i said $31.5k...they conferenced for about 20 minutes and they came back with an 'un-enthused' "we have a deal.."

I'm sure some people in Canada have gotten better deals, but i was content at MSRP -$1000...

can't stop thinking 'bout it...

Typical.

We have a dealer here who brought 3 up last June from the US. He still has all 3. Does not know (or will not admit) the MSRP party is over.

i got mine in victoria, they gave me fleet pricing, $1000 off, pretty shitty discount considering it dropped my duramax by nearly $12000. and my 1500 gm bucks from my gm card that was as good as i could get. as a sidenote my dealer in high river said he would have matched it but not till after i had the car. until then it was no deal just msrp, and i currently have 6 vehicles we bought from him.

Good News...

The mark-up structure in Canada is greater than the U.S.

Not-so-Good News...

Allocations are far less voluminous

Which gets you back to: Supply vs. Demand...

There are U.S. Dealers with 20+ in inventory. I've YET to see that in Canada, anywhere...
