1le 1/8mile times

Anyone know what I can expect to get as far as 1/8mile track times & trap speed? Also, I'm assuming 4th isn't required. I've yet to take mine to the track bc I'm still breaking it in & weather. Just wanted to know where it should be.

Also, is the 1le faster than the SS in the 1/8 since the 3.91

If you can drive you can see mid 8s and mid 80s mph.

From the FAST LIST thread.

No. Trans gearing is different which offsets the 3.91 gears.

Thanks, I looked at the fast list, guess I missed it.

I know the trans is different, set up for autoX, but I read that with the close ratio 4th is needed for 1/4. I was thinking since you don't have to hit 4th that would give a better time than the SS.

The SS vs 1LE has been discussed /argued numerous times....The end results is the cars are very similiar and it comes down to the driver...

The non 1LE SS still holds the faster times in 1/8 and 1/4 bone stock, but there are more of them on the road for a longer period of time.

Also you will need 4th in the 1/4 mile.
