one of these car loan approve in minutes type deals like carsdirect, eloans, etc. if you have what was your impressions? was thinking of applying next week if a certain car is still on the lot at that point. was looking at bank of America and some of the other "quick" loan sites.

Back in May of 2012 i applied with online with Ally bank (formerly GMAC) as they had the best rate at the time before I ever walked into the dealer. Recently bought a Ford Expedition to replace my old DD and the dealer got me the best rate through his network of lenders. Good luck!

I did mine online through my bank, USAA. I actually did two separate online loan approvals, one for the amount I would need if I traded in my truck and one for the amount I would need if I did not trade in my truck. Both were approved in under 5 minutes. Having both gave me more options when I went to the dealership. Overall, I had no issues and it worked perfectly. I have not done this through a dedicated loan site, just through my bank.

I did mine through USAA online as well. Easy process and was approved in under 5 minutes. Printed my voucher at the dealership and handed it to the finance guy. Signed my registration paper work and drove away!

I did an online refi on my car last week because I wanted to bring it over to an AZ bank instead of having it out of state. They lowered my rate by more than 1% and they gave me 1% cash back on the remaining balance. Worked out great!

I did mine through Wells Fargo. My last two car loans were done through them, and I have had no issues with their customer service. The dealer claims that they get better rates from other places, but I wanted to make sure I dealt with a place that I liked. The dealer rate ended up being more.
