The Z/28 splitter is a lot cheaper than the 2013 1LE splitter.....

Subscribed. I am in the process of doing this for my 14 SS. Ordered all of the parts but the splitter itself. At least this way I can spread the cost out and stay off of the couch!
Thanks for all of the contributors! The image file above was very helpful to know exactly what I needed. Will post pics in a month or so when done. Half way there. |

Not as a package... you have buy the brackets separate. Some of the bolts are in a kit I think it was listed as KD01 in the picture up a few posts.

Some friends and I installed mine last night. I bet the factory Z/28 facia is predrilled. This is not as easy as a 1LE spoiler to install, but it looks killer. Got the splitter for $340 and about another $180 or so for the hardware kit. Love that it mounts to the crash bar.
Also used ZL1addons splitter guards. |

So I guess it was bound to happen but my front splitter was the victim of some freaking random road debris. My question is... Has anyone removed the splitter? Wondering if I have to remove the front fascia in order to take it off? I thought I had removed all of the bolts/screws but apparently not. The center portion is loose but the sides are still snug. As a side note, I did all this while in my garage laying on my back. I was hoping not to have to take it to my buddy's lift . Was figuring I didn't need one... I figured wrong. Thanks for any help y'all can offer

There are 2 bolts on each side going from the inside of the bumper cover in to the splitter, you have to unbolt the lower part of the fender liners to get at them from inside..

Yea there are 4 per side. You can get away without taking the wheel wells completely off but it's easier to just get them out of the way.
