Best gears for 2012 ss?

What do yall think is the best gears for a 2012 ss m6 daily driver? 3.73?

And where would yall recommend getting them from?

I say move atleast a half a ratio or leave it as is. Now if your replacing the whole rear like a new 9" upgrade or ZL1 diff then do what you want.

I have a 2013 l99 and went with 3.91's plus a circle d "2c" stall. Then grin on my face is permanent when driving!! Hope that helps ya.

3.91 gears here...huge difference from the stock ones.

I also recommend a short throw shifter, either the factory 1LE/ZL1 or the MGW (I just put that one in).

The GM 3.91 gear upgrade is a heck of a deal, especially when you look at other gear sets. Very popular mod.

AAM 3.91s I only lost 2mpg and it made a big difference.

Another vote for 3.91. By upgrading the stock M6 equipped Camaro SS to 3.91s you will realize an equivalent torque gain of approximately 13% or 55 lb.-ft. of torque. It really helps get these big cars moving faster. And if you get the GM 1LE 3.91 kit and have a Chevy dealer install it you will not impact your warranty.
