why? Why? WHY?!?

I get the cardboard on the dash... that is to preserve the resale value on this cream puff. As long as the dash remains pristine, this thing'll bring an EASY $150.

But why the cardboard under the wiper blades? This vehicle is parked at my place of employment every day. I don't know who drives it, so I don't know who to ask. But, every day, there are these stylish cardboard things dutifully placed under the wipers. This is done rain or shine... in these pics, it's 80 degrees out, not a cloud or a rain forecast for days. The blades appear to be fine... negating my theory that maybe this was a reminder not to turn on some damaged/ missing- parts wipers and risk etching the windshield with geometry class arcs.

I just don't get it... any theories?

What a fine piece of work there, it's a beauty. Must be preserving the wiper blades...who knows!

I've seen this before he's C.C.C, Cardboard Condo Contractor and those are awnings he's advertising on the windshield.

Don't laugh somebody on this forum will buy the dash protector!

I've heard if you tape clear bubble wrap over your entire windshield, it will protect against rock chips while you're driving.

Very strange but there must be a reason behind the madness.

It's to keep the sun from reflecting off the windshield and peeling the paint on his hood even further, which would diminish the value of his fine, fine, fine, $100 beater.

I would.
Also maybe. just maybe there thinking (yes I said it) "but not good enough" that the blades might stick the windshield if left out there to long.
Call out of work and do a steak out. Investigate this.

I'd wait for the person and ask...I'm genuinely curious.

Does the car move around the parking lot, so you know it's being driven?
