Am I alone in feeling like theres no reason the two brown seats can't be optional for all trim levels? I wouldn't mind paying extra for them... I feel like it's not too much to ask to want brown leather in my 55k+ dollar 1LT with Z51.

I get that some of you don't like the IOM, But some of us do. To each their own. Love my IOM 2013 Camaro ZL1.

Just ordered 2014 Corvette w/ Z51 pkg, Magnetic Selective ride, Dual-mode exhaust, as shown in post 64, Torch Red, Adrenaline Red interior, Spoiler and mirrors in Carbon flash-painted and hope order goes thru with carbon fiber dash panel. I know it will be bright, but what the hell.

Now to just wait, although not that bad, I love driving the ZL1.

I wonder if the seats fit in my Envoy.

ADMIN: It's wrong...

Registered to let you know that this thread starts with a big error that nobody appears to have caught in 6 months! (I have not read all 4 pages, but the error is still present so my guess is nobody's cottoned on to it).

Two of the interior colors shown in post 1 are wrongly labeled. The pictures have been swapped: The darker brown is the Brownstone, not the Kalahari - only available with the 3LT trim. The tan is the Kalahari, available on the 2LT and up trim levels.

This needs to be fixed, people reading this thread are going to get screwed if they order based on this inaccuracy.

Can anyone confirm which seat color is kalahari and which one is brownstone. I have seen literature that denotes brownstone as dark brown and kalahari similar to the color of a baseball glove. I have also seen literature denoting just the opposite.

The Brownstone is the darker, chocolate color. Kalahari resembles a ball glove. Early literature from Chevrolet was incorrect, but was quickly corrected, long before any orders were placed. Some older threads haven't been updated. I think everyone serious about either color is aware of the early error, so you can rest easier!

It certainly creates a bad first impression of this forum when nobody can be bothered to take 5 minutes to fix such a blatant error and so it's left there for months on the first page of what amounts to the forum's "official" interior photo thread.

I feel like that's a little harsh, but we have noticed a lack of moderator activity on Corvette7 recently, and as soon as we brought it up, Tran, a very great moderator for this community as well as Camaro5, got everything back up to speed. If you notice an issue that you'd like to be fixed you can mention him and he will typically get right to work. On the other hand, I think you'll find a whole multitude of great people and information here, so allow me to welcome you to Corvette7!

Where are you finding these on Chevy's web site.
The only thing I can find on the new Corvette is the stuff on Chevy's website that does not give you any valuable information. Nothing about options, interior colors ect.

Thanks John
