Why is the interior so cramped....
I've sat in a couple of Camaros (2SS A6, M6, and an V6, with and without a sunroof).
The car is cramped for me..I'm only 6' about 200, with 32 inseam, yet I barely have an inch of head room with the sunroof. Without the roof it feels closed in.. Worse yet, my knees are very close to the dash, in the six speed car to get good clutch feel I am less than an inch from the dash. I don't mind the visibility problems, you can get used to that, but it feels like the car is just to small on the inside...a 4th Gen feels roomy by comparison. How are you bigger guys fitting in it?

I actually think the interior feels very roomy, but I'm 5'3", 125 lbs. It's been a million years since I sat in any of the older Camaros so I can't make a good comparison there.
My 2LT doesn't have a sunroof right now but the 2SS we have on order will have a sunroof. I'm interested to see what the difference will be there, feel wise. |

The seat was probably raised up... Next time you get in one adjust the seat down. It has alot of travel so Im sure you will be fine

I think you might fit better without your head up your ass,
Just kidding. I'm 6'1" 230 took me some time to get everything set right in my 2SS.

6'0", 180 lbs. and I found the interior to be fine. Headroom, shoulder room, legroom were all just fine. Definitely did not feel calustrophobic. Try sitting in an S2000. THAT is a small interior.

I think it's just because it's a sports coupe. It's supposed to feel like an F16, you wear it not just sit in it. This gives you the sensation of speed and the feeling of a precise driving machine.
Camaro always has had that Jet aircraft type on influence. You see speed when you look at a Camaro, you feel it when you sit in one as well. |

I'm 6'2" 34"inseam, my sunroof car is better for me than anything else I have driven with horsepower! I fit great and the driver bay is much larger than the C6 Vette I drove, also I have the seat forward about 2" for comfortable clutch application. Headroom is good, I know the roof is right there but I never touch it and my hair is pretty tall too. Everyone is different!

I will have to go back and check again, my wife loves the new Camaro, inside and out, so we are looking at them. I did test drive the V6 model and it was decent space-wise while driving. I'll have to play with the seat adjustments more, but I think the seat was quite a ways back as it looked like it took all but a few inches of backseat leg room--bad news for my kids.
