The 315s you installed highlight a foundational weakness is the 5th Gen from the factory -- Rear End Step Out. This is common to vehicles with the IRS mounted to the monocoque through Noise Vibration and Harshness (NVH) voided rubber bushes. Under load (acceleration, deceleration, launch, cornering, traversing bumps or basically driving) the sub-frame twists within the rubber bushes. These twists, these shifts are continuous creating changes in the alignment. Keep in mind that alignment is not static. It changes constantly as you drive. These shifts cause the rear end to feel loose.
The fix is simple. Upgrade your sub-frame bushes and make sure we have a good alignment. |

When you say the car feels loose, what do you mean? Does the car feel unsettled during acceleration? Braking? Cornering?
If the car feels poorly all around I would look at your alignment first. Is this the first time you've taken the car back on the road since this last round of suspension mods? Was the alignment checked after installing the suspension parts? A little more info will go a long way to diagnosing what's going on. |

What are your alignment spec's? Is something perhaps loose? Did it happen after an install of an item or after you had the same setup. Not sure I'm understanding this. Did it start right after the tires were put on? Need to remember that there is such a thing of to wide of a tire for a rim. I may fit but that doesn't really mean it will perform better.

From reading what you posted I think what Pete is recommending (I think most other vendors will to) is that you need to replace your sub-frame (aka: cradle) bushings.
With the HP you're probably talking about you should go to the full bushing and not just the bushing insert. I don't have near the HP you're talking about and I put in just the cradle inserts. I could feel the firmness immediately. I felt it way more than even the Hotchkis Chasiss brace that I added. There are several brands to choose from Pfadt, Whiteline, BMR, Energy.....but I'm partial to Pedders. Do some searching on cradle bushing inserts and then pick the Mfg you feel is the best for you.

It could be multiple issues but the cheapest place to start is with an alignment. I would suggest going with -.2 to -.4 degrees rear camber and zero toe; for the front I would go with -.5 to -.8 degrees of camber and -1/16 toe in. This is a great street/strip alignment.
With the HP you're making I would also strongly suggest going with a good sub-frame bushing replacement. We offer the Pedders bushings as well as the Pfadt mounts. They are both excellent products and they will keep the sub-frame where is is supposed to be. I would also suggest coilovers with that kind of power; the increased spring rate would make it feel much more planted. Please feel free to call, email or PM me anytime with questions. I'm always happy to answer question and find the right solutions to obtain your goals. Kind regards, Jordan Priestley 888.308.6007 |

thank you all gentlemen for the the replies and expert opinions..truth be told the car ran excellent before the new rims and sub frames bushing...THE car has all the rear full sub frame bushings... i will do toe link replacement and full alignment...I think its the alignment at this point, and that combined with so much power doesnt help...Question i also think the shake of the engine due to power shift is making my car veer side ways..what do u all think? ...thanks again guys
