ZL1 vs GT500 REAL Track Test
I am tired of reading magazine articles and I want to know how fast a ZL1 really is on track I want to know how fast a 2013 GT500 is on track. I'll have two very good and very fast driver's at Gingerman Race Track in South Haven Michigan on July 14th. I need a BONE stock ZL1. We'll wire her up and run two very short sessions.
Lap 1 Warm up Lap 2 Hot Lap 3 Hot Lap 4 Cool down The drivers are Danny Popp and TJ Bain. Just 4 hot laps with real drivers that know the track inside and out. LPE has two ZL1s but they are both modified. Actually I don't know anyone in the area with a ZL1 that we haven't modified  Let us run four laps with your Z and we'll send you out with Danny, TJ or both for some instruction. If we get the cars, we will have magazine coverage. I am sure we can arrange for your picture to be published along with the track results. How about the Camaro TEAM. Care to bring out a ZL1? Any takers? |

If I had a ZL1, you know I'd be handing ya the keys! Being part of the test, and free instruction from 2 experienced drivers is a pretty good deal IMO.

Ah fudge! I would have loved to have my ZL-1 take part of this. To bad you're not near Arizona anywhere. I would have gladly turned over the keys for a few laps.
