Depends on how much knock you have right now with the stock pulley. I managed to get zero knock so I could have gone one smaller without meth probably.

Here is the mod list plan so far after I've had the kit for 500 miles.

1. AFR wideband 200$
2.3.48 pulley with belt 120$ or so
3. Meth kit 500$
4. LFX ported intake manifold 700$
5. IAT relocate 40$
6. 52 mm gauge housing 70$
7. Quad gauge pack 200?
8. Throttle controler 150$

Number 8,1,5 are happening very soon.

2000 or so dollars left for this engine build should be an amazing performing v6

3.48" is 2 steps smaller, I have 4 degrees of knock retard and a 14:1 AFR, I do NOT recommend doing that without a meth kit. 3.60" is 1 step smaller.

If you do use Methanol injection, this is what I use:

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/sno-40008

It is pre-mixed, 49% Methanol, 51% water with red dye and fragrance for leaks. I HIGHLY recommend buying a transfer pump from O' Reilly or any other place and wearing gloves when transferring it from the bottle to the tank. Also wear goggles to protect your eyes. 100% methanol is a poison, can cause blindness, coma, or death. Diluted methanol is safer, but still handle it with extreme care, no need to take chances.

Methanol kit is still worth it, it provides high octane and IAT reduction. Just respect the stuff.

Damn man that sucks about your bcm. And a question to you guys running meth on this kit. I know it isn't required for a basic ipf supercharger install but aside from extra protection would their be any advantages or disadvantages for using meth with the stock pulley?
