that's terrible, as said above, he could have been following the insurance companies advice, but i see what you're saying, it's always nice to hear the person own up.

Oh I am so sorry to see your 2LT RJT/RS that looks so much like my RJT SS/RS(less the hockey stripes) with such a big owie. But have no fear, your baby was born on the same day as my daughter, (only 16 years apart) and my girl is an awesome 19 year old, responsible driver. spoiled rotten by me, and the grandparents got her a car, but it's a 95 acrua integra so it's not like a new mercedes... and she's got a spotless driving record. There is hope for our younger generation yet. My son will be 25 next summer and the only accidents he's been in was a pit bull that ran into him in the middle of the night on a country road in georgia (not his fault, just like hitting a dear according to insurance company) and a big suv running him off the road on a dark rainy night (didn't see him) so not his fault either. both times he walked away with no injuries because he did what he was taught to do, take your foot off the gas, don't brake hard, both hands on steering wheel and control car to side of road and slowly stop. The suv was a hit and run but there was a witness and the black paint on the drivers side of his car was evidence enough. Once again, there is hope with our younger generation.
It sure would be nice if that boys parents had taught their son to be a man and apologize for not only running into you but also to ask if you were all right and had any injuries. So many young adults today just don't know how to be respectful. And those that do know how I always go out of my way to tell them thank you. Sure do hope you get your baby back up and running soon and I'm glad you are okay. (((((HUGGSSSS))))) from Georgia!!! |
