I remember 3 years ago when i first heard this camaro might be coming to production and checking out this website . I was so excited this camaro was actually going to make it to production and after 3 years i am looking at buying myself my first new car and making it a camaro. Alot of that reason is because of you and passion you have for this car. The way you would describe 296 in detail reminded me of why i loved my first camaro so much. I really can't thank you enough for all you have done keeping us posted, answering questions down to detail for us and keeping that spirit alive. When i saw this post it made me sad. I have been following all of your and 296's adventures together as a visitor on this site for a while and I have to finally post up and show you my gratitude. Thank you Number 3!

Well, one 296 might be gone..........but I'm still driving my #296 and will for a long time..............I only wish we could have gotten them together for a family photo a while back.

Thanks again for these positive comments.
I can't emphasize how much the active and passionate participation by the members of Camaro5 made posting here so much fun. During the time I've been a member and posting on Camaro5, Gmhas gone through bankroptcy, we've gone through 1 round of staffing reductions with one more to come and Mrs. Number 3 lost her job at GM in April. The passion and love for this fabulous car was a major help for me personally to weather these difficult times.
