In a Vette you should install a remote clutch bleeder line for easy fluid swaps if you ever have the clutch out. I am not sure if that is needed on a Camaro (it IS A MUST on a Vette)....... you might want to check, because now would be the time to do it.
I am putting a clutch in my Z06 as we speak because I did not know this about Vettes. It was worthy of its own sticky in the Z06 secton on CorvetteForum... http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-z...-and-cure.html bottom line..... you need to do a full clutch fluid swap in a vette with every oil change... or else. For the remote bleeder check here: http://www.tickperformance.com/clutch-hydraulics-2/ and here: http://www.tickperformance.com/tick-...010-v8-camaro/ I am not sure if the Camaro is different since we are not hearing about this problem with our cars... but it is an available part from Tick Performance... which means people are buying them. I will keep mine fresh now to be safe. If I ever remove the clutch in my Camaro, I will be adding a remote bleeder.

Bell thx for the input I already ordered a remote bleeder 👍 I also did a little researched an people were saying it was best installing one while doing clutch. The thing I'm not sure about is where does the remote bleeder end/goes? If I'm not mistaking it connects somehow to the slave cylinder right? But where does the other end go? Anybody have pictures of their remote bleeder installed in their 2010 camaro ss? |

Then just drive the piss out of it. A Metco driveshaft safety loop wouldn't hurt if you drive it hard and you're there anyways.

I think if I was doing a clutch upgrade, I would seriously consider looking into this....
http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=317449 This is a RAM aftermarket slave cylinder, right?!?!? |

I didn't want to start a new thread.I searched, but found nothing,so im just posting here.I have the clutch separator installed, and change fluid after every tank.In the pic, this is how dirty after 1 tank. When i change fluid i take out the old fluid, and go thru 5 sessions of pumping the clutch 30 times empty fill, and repeat. The car is off,so my question is,does this create premature wear on my clutch?

Might wear out your knee, but it won't do anything to the clutch.
