Now with all those Mustangs, they could not save a cooled off one for Evan Smith's run?

My guess is more people will drive their ZL1's sportingly down windy roads than will get around town by stopping every quarter mile and hard-launching it. That's just a guess on my part though.

I beg to differ but thats probably cause we dont have any winding roads around here. If the did im sure they would be a blast.

Well again, I'd just like to know if they solved the monocoque issue on hard corners with the GT500, and if the car really feels planted on hard street handling driving. That's where most of my fun is early on Sunday mornings and late night drives. Erik

Wow! Some ppl really need to relax, this is just an internet forum. Dont get all worked up over a little trash talk that ever car forum happens to have. We should just be happy that we are given the opportunities to have these 2 powerful cars. At the end of the day, it really shouldnt matter if the GT500 beats the ZL1 or ZL1 beats GT500. Arent you buying the car based on your personal preference anyway?

I dont like ZL1 fans?? It takes a lot more than liking a model of car for me to "dislike" someone. Take a look at the TITLE of the thread, theres a slight hint to why I keep mentioning the GT500

If the personal attacks don't stop, then this will be the next Mustang thread to go bye bye...

Like the ZL1 vs GT500 thread, we have allowed some latitude... but the personal attacks are going to stop... whether it's initiated by Ford, Dodge or Chevy fans...

If you see a recent post of yours deleted, consider what may have been in that post to cause that, or that by quoting someone else, it was collateral damage...

If the problems are initiated by one or two, regardless of the make they drive, then the problem is easily fixed.... and I hope you understand my meaning...

I see you are using that old argument. Quick vs Fast, thats what people who coulda shoulda won a race, but didn`t, use as an escuse, example: "You know, well, I ran umpteenth mph faster than him so I should have beat him" kinda people. Let me dumb it down for you further. He who wins the race wins the race. I don` care if you run 11.0@150 to my 10.8@127. I won. Period. Tell the guys at the race track next time you lose that you were faster because of your mph and watch them laugh you off the track. You sound like a Toyota Supra driver.

If that still doesn`t enlighten you here it is in plain English:

MPH does not win races, ET wins races.

No, not at all, but it's easier to grab the posts that were quoteing post and just delete them as well, rather than editing several post related to one going off the deep end....

You're fine.... Really... Haven't seen any problem posts by you at all...

You know I'm just busting your chops dude...lighten things up a little. How are things going back in the Hampton Roads area?
Bob,

Yep, you went 11.4`s w/ less hp and less mph, if you won the race against me, we both dead hooked say i ran 11.41@119 to your 11.40@116, you won the race, and i thought we were talking about cars winning drag races here not how much hp they put down. In a sense you kinda helped my point...lol..

Things in the HR are still pretty good, a lot of the old guys have got out of racing all together, Shane just sold his cobra, man I hated to see him sell it, a guy from Canada bought it. I built a daily driver 10second ride, runs and drives like stock, full weight, stock internal car, so I could drive it and enjoy it while not having to put up w/ obnoxious cams, big stalls ect.. I can only go to track rentals anyways with no cage.:( Gets 24mpg on the hwy though

We miss you around here, would be good to have you back someday.
