When i hit the 118mph mark i was like WTF!? thats it?? im just used to my cobalt, 140+ was nothing for it. before anyone comes in with the irresponsibility crap you can go ahead and preach it but nothing has happened to me, i've never killed anyone, no speeding tickets ever, and the route i take to work is very open. does it justify my actions.......no but i dont care, im just covering my ass from you guys lol

Haha no worries amigo. I have a led foot myself but Ive never caught myself doing over 105. If youre responsible with the car there should be no problem. I wish i had open roads like that without no worries haha

Make good friends with your dealer, if they see you have upgraded tires that aren't R rated, and can convince them you're a weekend warrior at the track and it is a necessity, I'm pretty sure they'll hook you up!

LT or higher trims is good for ~154 or so, if you can get there.

I dont understand all you guys saying why would you want to go fast,i mean give me a ****ing break!!!!!!!!!!! We didn't buy a Camaro to be driven like a Prius. The fact that the Camaro has a speed limiter on it in the first place just is ridiculous. There are many occasions and situations that it is just fine to go fast. There are times that it isn't,but no one should tell me or anyone else when that is!!!!!!!!!!!!I dont want to hear anything about why GM put the limiter on because of people blowing up motors,so save your breath. When i was racing my superbike,i crashed at 130 mph, faster then most have even driven,(and it's not that fast)but to limit a (LT)a Camaro to 118.....sigh,yes i know all about the tire rating. If someone with a (LT)put the Pirellies "Y"rated, thats 186+mph,and lifted their speed limiter their warranty would be voided, yet the same car (1LT 2LT)that is already set at 155 is ok to run? The fact that my 2011 1LT RS/RS and my 2013 1LE have the same speed limiter is just ridiculous.Obviously to me speed isn't an issue, and to some it is,so stay to the the right out of our way.I am a racer and see things at speed, and most aren't.I dont race on the street, and dont think it is ok to do so,especially since there are so many venues that we can get our need for speed, but to ask why someone would want to go 118 mph

Legally, tuners aren't suppose to remove speed limits, but they are allowed to move them. I had a 97 mustang that I wanted it removed on. The tuner said they couldn't remove it, but they moved it high enough that I would never have to worry about hitting it.

Yes but I'd save my money on trifecta, it's garbage. But if you dig deep enough you can find its been tuned
