SGM - Don't know what that is - do you mean CGM? Which is Cyber Grey Metallic - kind of a grey charcoal, color if you will. Both are very nice.

RJT is a maroon colored red. I use to hate it, but now I would consider it on a car.
Silver is silver. If you do silver get the black stripes. Or are you talking CGM? If you get CGM get the black or orange stripes |

RJT looks like a nice deep marron in the shade but really pops in the sunlight. It looks similar to the Crimson Pearl Metallic that has been used on the cadillacs in the sun. Very deep warm red.
SGM(Synergy Green) I have not yet seen, but most that have seen it seem to like it. Last edited by ctk1; 03-24-2010 at 11:30 AM. |

My Daughter's SGM drew a lot of attention at the Woodlands Coffee & Cars on march 7th. It was one of the first in the Houston area. You have to see it outside in the sun.

Was there two types of Red Jewel Tints? I remember seeing two RJT and one of them was very close to a dark cherry look than the other. Was it a limited release Edition 8 months ago? Sorry, I get carry away with questions...

I'm sure both were the same. The color depends greatly on what type lighting your viewing it in. I think it looks very nice.

Like people have said, RJT changes depending on lighting conditions. In bright, direct sunlight, RJT is like a candy cherry red. Very vibrant. In lower light conditions, its more maroon.
It's a fantastic color. Bob Lutz' daughter, who I am family friends with, says out of all the colors she has seen, she likes RJT the best.

Beautiful pics Nickey Chicago and thanks for sharing! I've thought about gold stripes on mine ever since it was ordered, but then dropped it because I didn't want anybody to think I was a Niners fan or worse yet a Florida St. follower! gag!
And no there is only one RJT and it is metallic in the sun. Chevy has been making the RJT for a couple of years. My dealer pulled an RJT Malibu and a Victory Red Corvette side by side so I could choose my color!

RED
No, I don't think so. As far as I can tell there are TWO types of red - Victory red and red jewel tint (which is like 500 dollars more than the other colors). I am not a big fan of red - but do like CHERRY red from back in the day - neither of which these are. Go to Chevy's website and do a build your own picking each of these colors to get a better gage on what they look like.

There are two reds... The Victory is the dark red that seems to change in regards to direct lighting.. In the sun it just pops out at you, and in the shade it darkens to a deep deep red.
I just took delivery of RJT with black stripes... My wife hates red cars... she loves this color... |
