If you have to get a BMW, make it the M3. At least then you have the performance car. I won't argue about how attractive they are. They're beautiful. I will, however, tell you that getting a 3-series and trying to upgrade it is going to cost you more than the M3 will, and it will frustrate you trying to keep up with Camaros when your 3-series isn't the same level of performance.

I am tempted too, not by the BMW, but the Challenger keeps calling my name!!! Every time I see one I stare at it! I know the Camaro is the better car but I love the look of the Dodge.

To each their own. I personally don't like the look of the front, but the rear isn't bad looking. I just wish it wasn't such a pig handling wise and so expensive. I like the Bimmers as well, but the styling of the Camaro is much higher imo.

With a Dinan package the 3-series is a M3 killer

stock with a 300HP TT straight-six, 3000 lb curb- thats all I need to know-I would buy one

Haha I don't think I can save up for an M3 when I don't have a job. Its like $1200 a month. I graduate college in a year and a half so I wouldn't be able to afford one until like 2011 or 12.

Really? The look of the Challenger is what drove me away from it. But that's just my opinion.

A tick over 13.0 sec. and you're through the quarter-mile. It's a rush, of course, but not overly dramatic. Try the same thing with this pair's predecessors of 1970 or so and you'll find yourself in a bit of a wrestling match. Ain't progress wonderful? Maybe yes, and maybe sometimes it's fun to wrestle."

I don't think it counts as being tempted to do something if you're not able to do it.
That's like me saying I'm tempted to get Zonda but really want the Camaro
