'10 Maryland + DC Group

Ok,
So I live in rockville and I work in bethesda. I will be getting my camaro sometime within the 1st 2 weeks of april.

I have never had a car worth joining any sort of group and even though I still find this whole thing a little......weird, the whole cruising thing, i'm damn excited.

I was wondering if anyone would be interested in putting together some sort of group that could ride together and maybe catch a drink or 2 to bs about our beauty's.

With that being said post here if you know of a good group already or if you'd be interested in joining me and putting something non formal together.

My bagel business, #1 in DC/MD/VA would gladly provide breakfast for any meetings. (as long as you tell the 100000 people who want to talk about your car where you got the food lol...j/k )

Anyway i'm 25, and would love to meet up with any fellow Camaro owners.

Currently driving '02 Dodge Durango Blue/Silver

On order:
'10 2SS/RS Camaro
Black In + Out
20" Painted Aluminum Wheel upgrade
Sunroof
***Will order gfx + hurst shifter as soon as car is received***

Nice dude I live in Gaithersburg but spend most of my time in Rockville/Bethesda at my body shop. Its sounds awesome once we get are cars we can have a camaro meet and a highway cruise or something.

Ive been to Chevy avalanche meets at hooters on Rockville pike a while ago but lost interest in the group haha.

There is a Camaro club out of Clarksville. They are putting together a few events. Do a search on ths board and their posts plus website should come up. I am in Baltimore and I hope I see you on the road!

When camaros are flying together down the road the only age i'll see is '10. Any and all would be welcome. Just not sure where would be the best to ride.

any 'cruisin' nights anywhere

Different areas around the country have restaurants that do "cruisin" nights. In Orlando, FL the Stake and Shake restaurants have them on Saturday nights during the summer. People bring their muscle cars and hot rods. A&W do them some places too. A Sonic would be a good place, but I don't think there are any in Maryland.

Zeroburn your bagel place is right across the street from ourisman honda, we are there main body shop so im there at least once a day picking up a car.

As for cruising spots im not sure of any, im a little into the street racing scene and we would have big meeting spots on rockville pike on weekends but the cops always kick us out.

They call them cruisin nights in Florida, but it really is a bunch of folks with their muscle cars and hot rods parking at a drive in and talking and looking at the cars. On the plus side, the cops don't hassle you and sometimes stop by to check out the cars. Never hurts to have a friend in blue

I wish it was like that here but because of all the dumb ricers that come out the cops get pretty mad, but I think in Olney they have cruise nights every wensday of the week during the warm season.

If someone has any infor on the Olney cruise nights, it might be worth a trip after several of us have our cars to 'show the flag' so to speak.

My mother in law lives in olney right past the stop sight on georgia, right past 108. Maybe when we go up there to show them the car we can swing by your way. Just a thought.

When is your car coming...any idea?
