Looking forward to some photos there Sizzler!
I just checked on the rail car again and now it reports that the car is empty! I think the planets will have to align for me to get my car this weekend. Best of luck to everyone still in a holding pattern.

everyone on here had TPW of 3/18. i'm taking delivery tomorrow, so that's a ballpark estimate for you.

still waiting on my baby, dealer said 7-10 days after rail unload it should be at the dealer. That was the 23rd, nothing yet. No worries as I won't be home till May 1st, but i wanna see my car! haha. Grats to all you 3/18 guys who have your cars!

As promised, pictures: We still have to get the gill decals put on. The dealer wanted us to enjoy the car over the weekend Whoo-Hooo!

Thanks for the pics, very nice. I saw my first one in person Saturday at Van Chev. in Phoenix(on vacation). They had a coupe and a convertible. It going to make the wait that much harder. What did you find out about the engine covers?

The engine covers are gloss black. According to the dealer, it's a special cover. Other than to go around and open all the hoods in the lot, I don't have a way to verify it. No matter. My wife is driving the wheels off the thing. I have been able to drive it once. But, there is today!

I just looked at a bunch of SS Camaros on Auto Trader.com. It appears the standard engine covers are grey. So maybe the black are special edition for the HWSE but I'd still like to see the blue.

Mine was built 3/20 and I still don't have it.

I ordered it on 1/11/13. So get ready to wait around 3 months.

It may be better to look for dealers with cars that have the options you want and buy your car from a dealer vs ordering one.
