Polishing the MacBook w/ Adam's (56K Warning)

Yup.. I got a new MacBook back in January, and after just 4 months of useage; its filled with marring, scratches and hazing.. I decided to get out my Adam's goodies and give my MacBook the love it deserves. I used:

Adam's Detail Spray
Adam's Fine Machine Polish
Adam's Americana
Adam's 4" White Spot Buffing Pad
Adam's True Blue Microfibers
12v Rotary Drill

Here's our subject:

Here's the initial inspection:

Our tools to be used:

After wiping down the surface with Detail Spray, I applied FMP with a white 4" pad via a rotary drill:

After removing the FMP; Inspection:

Applied 2 coats of Americana:

And here's our completed product:

My Mac looks brand new all over again.. Steve Jobs would be proud!

I do want to make something very clear. These products are not intended for use on electronics or non-clear coated surfaces; you do so at your own risk.

and no junkman, i won't be doing the two bucket wash on my iphone to avoid scratching ;-)

The surface was smooth with no bonded contaminants due to lack of outdoor exposure. However damage occurred by careless owners and numerous baby bottles sitting atop of it.

I got tired of the Microsoft FAIL that was windows Vista and I'll never look back. And Zaino would have just covered the imperfections, I wanted them fixed

But Windows 7 is here...it's ok to come back toward the light now. As much as you paid for the Mac it should come with it's own polishing crew.

Did you send those pics to Adam? He'd probably get a kick out of it.

I did post the pictures over at adams forums. with as much money as I spent on maintenance of a PC you can buy 2 macs. Not to mention the constant worry about virus' and spyware, seriously I wish I would have switched sooner. Vista crashed my $1500 tower 5 times in a year span, wiping out all of my pictures, my wifes school work, everything... This I cannot and will not forgive microsoft. If it happened once; I can forgive it as a fluke... 5 Times =
