Anyone seen these?
Caliper Caps?
http://www.listingfactoryhost.com/us...i/images/4.jpg the red one's on the left this is the website there off of... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Bremb...ht_11574wt_941 What are the deal with these? At first I wanted to paint my calipers red but then someone led me to these caliper caps and there interesting but I don't know much about them. Do they bolt over your existing calipers or do they replace them? If they bolt over them does that mean there so big as to maybe rub rim? what's the most info u guys have on these things.. advantages? disadvantages?? |

Those are for the V6 set up. They are covers essentially. You glue them on.

So they will not work on my ss? I just hate to paint these stock calipers because I was going to go with red and the stock lettering is red, so idk how it would get the word brembo to have white lettering

I might be wrong but the first covers are for the ss brembo brakes.

I can tell you this.....if you ever plan on running aftermarket wheels the covers may not fit depending on the wheel specs. I knoiw that my CCW 11.5" wide rear wheels are extremely close to the calipers....less than 1/8" clearance in the rear.

Is there a way to paint the calipers red and change the writing from red to white. that sounds difficult but then again I'm not a painter
