QTP Electric Exhaust Cutouts

I recently ran across a post with a video of this product on a 2010 SS and was left in awe. Almost made the purchase yesterday but before I do I'm curious to see if anyone knows if this will affect the vehicle's warranty. I'm pretty sure it will but am hoping I'm wrong because I'm not quite ready to void it yet but would love to see the looks I'd get as I roar down the street. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

Also, those cutouts are sweet. Much better than climbing under the car every time you want to open 'em up.

Did you do the install yourself or did you have an exhaust shop do it? I bought the kit a few weeks ago and once I get back into the country I plan on installing it right away but was wondering what a typical exhaust shop might charge and how long it would take them.

Ok- I found the QTP on E-bay for less than $200. No weeds is $600 better, Find that hard to believe.

Just my observation.

Hey 2ss I am going to purchase the qtp oval low profile cutouts for my 2ss here before x-mas and am also purchasing the electronic controller. Where did you run your electrical for the controller if you have the controller and are you very pleased with the qtp product, and does it sound as good in person as online. I always tend to go with a more expensive product..ie "noweeds",because you know the old saying "you get what you pay for," but qtp sounds really good online and seems to be built just as well. I noticed on one of the sites they went through the center consolewith the wireing which is fine with me, but the muffler shop will be doing it all, because I am not that "electricly inclined, but regardless i am worried about them taking apart the center console since them nor I really know how it comes apart. Thanks for your help on this hard decision of mine. By the way, nice maro!

Also did you notice a little more performance out of them when they are open, or is it to small of a gain to really tell a diffrence. Thanks again. I am soooooooo ready to get this mod, I just want to make sure that I am making the right decision as I am a picky person sometimes. I don't want something breaking halfway through the year and then having to replace it again. With that said, did they offer a waranty or anything on this product? Thanks again man.

Hi i put the controller in the console and wired it to the 12V in the console and set the trigger wire to the T-Handle so i cam push the controller one time and it open's to the preset and if you push it again it opens to the 2nd preset and if you use thr trigger it opens all the way its nice, There is a thread that has all the pics of how to do the wiring on camaro5 for there
qtp oval low profile cutouts, And thanks for the nice words.
