i actually done something kinda goofy with my clear reflectors in my trucks DRL(daytime running lights). i unhooked the lights, and scraped the orange off of the bulb very carefully, took like 45 minutes, but it looks really cool with my chrome headlights and they emit an off white color at night, which i think looks way better than amber. lol.

just so u guys know that the chrome dipped bulbs aka stealth bulbs will produces a low level of light compared to the stock amber bulb. during the day time the light will be barely noticable, and at night time they will be not as bright as stock. however they looks wicked.

AWESOME IDEA! I've been trying to figure out how one can "stealth" a SIM Camaro.
Next step is those side turn signals! I think I'd leave the tail-lights alone

Doh. Is this true?
With all the near-accidents, and accidents I keep reading about, I don't want anyone not noticing that I've got my blinkers on.

Is there a brighter alternative, or can we see these lights lit up?

I haven't had this brand but the ones I have had in the past where not dimmer in any fashion what so every. The bulbs are not coated with paint its a metal electroplating like a one sided mirror.

There is a lumen loss but its still visible in the day time with no problem. I think the bulbs I had before had like an 8% loss because of the coating.

I installed these yesterday - easy to do (owners manual has directions in Section 9 Vehicle Care, needed for Driver-side to move the air duct back to access bulb harness). You turn the entire harness, do not unplug the harness from the socket - the entire bulb/socket/harness will come out when turned properly.

While I did not take before/after pictures I will say the mirror bulbs from stealth auto http://www.stealthauto.com/Products/...SBCA-3357.aspx appear to be as bright as the stock yellow bulbs for both turn and hazards.

The look is way cleaner without the yellow reflection of the turn signal bulb so I'm sold on these. I kept the stock bulbs in the mirror bulb packaging and placed in the growing box of replaced stock parts for future use if needed.

Again, if you order, sign up for preferred membership first, you'll get the 20% discount code in email - otherwise only a 10% discount is applied at checkout without the preferred member code.
